About us

Inspired by
a legend.

Every September, a famous festival in Munich turns an open field into a city of tents. Space there is legendary. And limited.

01 / The rules of the field

Scarcity
is the whole game.

  1. Rule 01

    The race for a table.

The doors open and people run. A free seat at a table in a tent is a small victory, and everyone knows it.

  2. Rule 02

    Every host wants in.

Innkeepers line up to serve on the grounds. Few get a spot, because the field doesn’t grow.

  3. Rule 03

    The map doesn’t scroll.

Same ground every year. No extra floors, no endless feed. That is exactly what makes a spot worth something.

02 / Our idea

We brought
the rules online.

The internet has endless space, so nothing online feels scarce. WTFair borrows the rules of the festival ground: one fixed map, a fixed number of plots, exactly one brand per plot. Once the map is set, it doesn’t grow.
